On-Call Context From Recent Deploys

Most pages are deploy-related. Surface deploys to the on-call automatically.

Integration

The deploy feed wires directly into the alert payload. On-call should see what changed in the last few hours before they click through to a dashboard.

• Recent deploys embedded in the alert. Per-alert the affected-service deploy list. Surfaces in the payload, not in a separate tab.
• Visible before click-through. At-a-glance view. On-call sees what changed without leaving the alert UI.
• Link to the diff per deploy. PR or commit URL alongside each deploy entry. Root-cause investigation starts from the diff.
• Author tag per deploy. Named author per deploy. Direct engagement is one click away when needed.

Filter

The filter cuts noise to the deploys that could plausibly be the cause. Recent enough to be relevant, scoped to the right services, and inclusive of config flips that look like deploys to the on-call but are not always treated as deploys by the pipeline.

• Last 4 hours. Recency window. Older deploys are rarely the cause; including them is just noise.
• Per-service scope. Matching-service filter. Cuts unrelated deploy noise from other parts of the org.
• Cross-service relevance surfaced separately. Upstream-dependency deploys shown in their own list, not collapsed into the same one.
• Config and feature-flag flips included. Per-deploy the feature-flag toggles. Catches the “we didn’t deploy” class of cause.
